Primary Source Documents


The instructions and grading rubric for analyzing primary source documents -- students may show their analysis through an essay or an interview with the teacher.

Only a small number of students typically choose the examination of primary sources as their "high order task" in a differentiated instruction lesson. The principle reason is that this task requires a higher reading level on the part of the student.
