Mr. Jones has been teaching since 1991. He has taught at Colton-Pierrepont Central School, Crown Point Central School, Schroon Lake Central School, and at Adirondack Community College teaching summer enrichment to students in grades 6-9. Mr. Jones holds permanent New York State Teaching certificates in Social Studies 7-12, French 7-12, and Elementary (k-6).

Mr. Jones taught French for the first 13 years of his career. In 2004, he was happy to have had the opportunity to begin a new path teaching Social Studies. Besides these subjects, Mr. Jones has taught German I, Robotics, basic web programming, Technology 7th and 8th, and a variety of other enrichment courses. Mr. Jones has extensive computer experience and worked as District Technology Coordinator and network administrator for Crown Point School from 1997 to 2000 and for Schroon Lake Central School from 2000 to 2002.

Mr. Jones' musical interests include playing the Highland bagpipes and Irish uilleann bagpipes. Mr. Jones plays and gives lessons on Highland Bagpipes for the Adirondack Pipes and Drums in Glens Falls, New York. He is currently serving as "Pipe major" of that band.
